Hello! My name is Nora and this is my blog. I live in Cambridge, doing my first proper job after spending a few years teaching English in Spanish speaking countries. While teaching in Costa Rica I picked up Mr 'Splorer, who crossed the Atlantic with me and now patiently puts up with my tendencies to make an enormous mess in our very tiny kitchen and stop him from eating until I've taken photos.
I started writing the blog in 2008 when little sis got bored of me telling her what I was making for lunch and suggested I start a blog so that she could cook it too. So there's no grand idea, I just write about whatever I make that I think's worth passing on. And I'm no expert - I'm always learning (including why you shouldn't drink-bake!). But I think the point of blogging to share the success stories, recommendations and great ideas, and equally to commiserate and offer advice in the case of disaster.
